An NHS dentist for you and your family

You want the best dental treatment and that is what we are committed to deliver. It doesn’t matter whether you are looking for an NHS dentist or private dental care. You will always get the same level of service: the best we can deliver.

We encourage patients to register for NHS treatments in our modern well-equipped practice in Glasgow. There you will be entitled to the full range of treatments available to keep your teeth in top condition.

Register as an NHS dental patient and you will be entitled to make appointments for free dental checkups as well as emergency appointments as required.

You might like to look at this information from the Scottish Government on what to expect from your NHS dentist in Scotland.

It outlines what happens when you register for NHS dentist services: for example giving your details and finding out about the dentist and the practice.

It also covers what to expect once you have registered: for example arranging your first dental check-up and how the dentist will work with you to put together a dental plan.

NHS Dental Charges

To give you an idea of costs here is a list of NHS dentist Glasgow prices in our Glasgow West End practice.

It is not at all exhaustive and is for illustrative purposes. To get the most up to date prices it is better to contact the practice direct.

Don't forget, as an NHS patient, if you want to add private services you also have access to our full range of cosmetic dentistry services on a private basis.

You can read all about dental charges in this advice from NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. However in a nutshell:

  1. NHS dental examinations are free of charge to all patients.
  2. Patients under 18 or between 18 and 19 and in full time education are exempt from charges.
  3. Patients on certain benefits may also be exempt of charges on proof of exemption.
  4. Other NHS treatments will have a charge attached. However there is a maximum charge for NHS dental treatment which we don’t go above. Currently this is about £384 (but always check with us for up to date dental prices).
