When you emerge from Partick railway station, beside Dumbarton Road and just five minutes from Crystal Dental, you immediately come face to face with two giant murals painted on the tenement gables.
These are Commonwealth Games murals and are the work of Guido van Helten from Australi.
They feature Nicola Skrastin who plays hockey for Scotland and Lynsey Gallagher from the netball team.
