About Crystal Dental Care Glasgow

Your dental health is why we're here

Welcome

Crystal Dental Care is a well-established dental practice in the west end of Glasgow.

We have a qualified and friendly dental staff team led by Dr Brendan Murphy who has more than 20 years experience as a Glasgow dentist with a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry.

We are proud to care for the dental health of our patients in this part of Glasgow as well as those who come to us from other parts of Scotland. Many are referred to us by their own family dentists particularly for cosmetic dentistry work such as dental implants and porcelain veneers.

We particularly enjoy supporting two Scottish charities: Downs Syndrome Scotland and Action for Children Scotland and encourage our staff and interested patients to get behind these two great causes.

Ahmed Khalid

Dr Ahmed Khalid (GDC Reg. 244323) graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Glasgow in 2013. He has gained extensive experience working in diverse settings, including remote regions of Scotland such as the Isle of Benbecula and Oban, where he served as a community dentist.

Dr Khalid has a particular focus on implant dentistry, providing advanced solutions for patients missing single or multiple teeth. He completed his implant training with the BAIRD Academy and has pursued further postgraduate education in the bone and soft tissue structures surrounding implants to ensure optimal long-term results.

In addition to implant dentistry, he offers comprehensive restorative and cosmetic treatments. He trained under a specialist prosthodontist during a year-long program on Harley Street in London, refining his skills in complex restorative and aesthetic dentistry. He has also completed multiple clear aligner courses, including Invisalign, allowing him to provide orthodontic solutions tailored to his patients' needs. For anxious patients, he is qualified to administer IV sedation, ensuring a more comfortable and stress-free experience.

Most importantly, he is a proud husband and dad to a daughter, as well as two dogs and two cats who keep life lively and entertaining.

TESTIMONIALS

I have been visiting Dr Murphy since I was a baby and my parents have been patients of his for 25 years. Dad's really nervous - it's unlikely he'd visit anyone else even if he was pain. My brother and sister grew up visiting him every six months.

In all that time Brendan always told us exactly what we needed to have a nice smile.

Most importantly, he's always interested in us as people, not just his patients. We would never go anywhere else.
